☀️🤼‍♂️AWC is ready for summer! ☀️🤼‍♂️

Our wrestling camp is back and open to K–8 athletes who want to jump in, try something new, and have a blast on the mat.

Whether your child is brand new to wrestling or already competing, this four‑day camp is designed to help them grow, work hard, and have fun in a positive, energetic environment.

Keeping things rolling with another Rioux in the house tonight to lead RTC! 💪💪

Ray Rioux was a four-time IHSAA state placer for the Orioles, earning runner-up finishes in both his junior and senior seasons. He continued his career with University of Indianapolis Wrestling as a starter at 141 lb and a national qualifier.

Luke Rioux takes over the room to lead Avon RTC.

Luke is a former Oriole ISHAA state champion at 126 lbs. He currently wrestles at Indiana Tech where he is a 2x All-American. We also think he is one of the best coaches around! Come get better!

🟡⚫️Avon RTC continues WEDNESDAY with guest clinician Cheaney Schoeff 🟡⚫️

Cheaney graduated from Avon High School as a 4x State placer and among Oriole leaders in career pins. After graduating, Cheaney wrestled at IU and currently wrestles for the Edinboro University Fighting Scots.

Awesome job by our Orioles taking on a deep competition pool at the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) National Duals:

Case Bridge - Indiana Outlaws Black (6th Place Team) - 8-2
MJ Hileman - Indiana Outlaws White - 2-6
Nate Rioux - Team Shutt (TEAM CHAMPS 🥇) - 9-0

National-level competition. Tough brackets. Big-time performances. Proud of these Orioles for battling and representing!

Another Oriole legend is leading RTC TONIGHT!

Jaden Reynolds is a 3x IHSAA state placewinner, who finished his Avon career with over 140 victories including two semi-state titles, three conference championships, and a win at the IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open. He later went on to start at 149 lbs for Purdue University.

Congrats to Anthony Zuranski on taking 🥉 at Central Regionals in Kentucky!

Zurk finished the tournament 6-1. After a close quarterfinal loss, he battled back with four straight wins, including a :17 tech fall in the 3rd place match to avenge the earlier loss.

With the placement, he also punched his ticket to Fargo Nationals 🇺🇸

A new beginning for Avon Wrestling 💪

Welcome new Orioles head coach Jacob Aven!

Coach Aven brings high-level experience both on and off the mat. He was an NCAA qualifier as a wrestler and has quickly built an impressive track record as a high school coach. Over the last three seasons, his teams have produced 3 state finalists, 5 state placers, and 51 dual meet wins.

Excited for the future of Avon Wrestling under his leadership.

We're excited to open the doors for Coach Brady Eppert for Avon RTC this Wednesday.

Coach Eppert is the head coach and owner of the Central Indiana Academy of Wrestling (CIA). He has coached multiple youth and high school state champions, All-Americans, and collegiate wrestlers across all levels. He has also served as an Indiana National Team Coach since 2004 and previously coached at Anderson Highland High School, where he helped develop state champions and placers.
