JR Kobras 11U Come Back To Defeat Windy City Wicked 11U

JR Kobras 11U trailed by as many as four, but came back to top Windy City Wicked 11U on Sunday at Yukich Field, 7-5.

Windy City Wicked 11U jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Bella S doubled, scoring one run, Willow M singled, scoring one run, and Frankie L singled, scoring two runs.

JR Kobras 11U tied the game up in the bottom of the second thanks to two walks. JR Kobras 11U tied the game at four on a walk by Aaliyah R.

Windy City Wicked 11U took the lead in the top of the third. Amelia W singled, scoring one run, to give Windy City Wicked 11U the lead, 5-4.

JR Kobras 11U jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Ava H tripled down the right field line, and JR Kobras 11U scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Gemma M led things off in the circle for JR Kobras 11U. The starter gave up six hits and five runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking five. Kendall K started in the circle for Windy City Wicked 11U. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and seven runs (five earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking eight.

Brooklyn B, JR Kobras 11U's number seven hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Ava led JR Kobras 11U with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-1 on the day. JR Kobras 11U had a strong eye at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Delaney F and Ava led the team with two free passes each. Ava stole three bases. JR Kobras 11U stole six bases in the game. JR Kobras 11U didn't commit a single error in the field. Ava had the most chances in the field with nine.

Frankie led Windy City Wicked 11U with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Emma W, Amelia, Willow, Bella, Frankie, and Elli C each collected one hit for Windy City Wicked 11U. Sadie Z paced Windy City Wicked 11U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying five walks for the game.

Powerful Pitching Performance From Payton F Carries JR Kobras 11U Past Eclipse 11U

Payton F struck out 10 batters as the right-handed pitcher led JR Kobras 11U past Eclipse 11U 7-4 on Saturday at Yukich Field. Payton allowed two hits and four runs over five innings while walking three.

Eclipse 11U jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Reagan E drew a walk, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored two runs.

JR Kobras 11U flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Mackenzie that drove in two.

Daniela E started in the circle for Eclipse 11U. The pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking two.

Ava H led JR Kobras 11U with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. JR Kobras 11U had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Aaliyah R and Audrina R led the team with two bases on balls each. Aaliyah stole three bases. JR Kobras 11U stole eight bases in the game. JR Kobras 11U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ava had the most chances in the field with eight.

Reagan and Madeline B were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Eclipse 11U. Reagan led Eclipse 11U with one run batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-1 on the day. Reagan and Sadie S each stole multiple bases for Eclipse 11U.

JR Kobras 11U will travel to Windy City Wicked 11U for their next game on Saturday.
