Raced at Shawano Speedway for our first time last night on the big half mile track. We got some good on board footage of my heat race showing the real speed of these half mile tracks. Car felt very good in this heat race I started 5th and finished 4th, it is crazy on what these cars do down a long straightaway. This race had put me into the redraw and pulled the best draw you can get and started pole, off the start I slipped up off the bottom and let a few cars by then got myself regrouped on the bottom, that was the fastest line there. A caution had came out and I had to start on the outside and being that it was so slick I lost a few spots, there were 3 more cautions during that race and I started outside again on 2 of them, everytime I had lost a few spots and ended up finishing 7th that race. I was a little disappointed on my luck of starting outside everytime on the restarts but that is racing and thats the fun in it all, the challenges. I am grateful to be able to do this sport and have such supportive parents and sponsors by my side.

Friday, August 14th is Coca-Cola Night!

With USRA Northern Lights Modified Series running at Fairmont Raceway next Friday we are taking USRA Modifieds off. USRA Late Models will once again be running!
