These underclassmen all received awards for academic excellence last night. I am beyond proud of you all for your wonderful academic achievements and dedication demonstrated both off and on the field. There are so many more fantastic student-athletes on this team that did not receive an award. Your futures are so bright!!! Proud of you all!!!

The “clutch” for an incredible “clutch” play went to Emily. To see her catch a deep drive to left field and then toss it in and hold the runner at third would make most softball enthusiasts yell (in a most enthusiastic way😉).

Bella had 2 double plays!!!!! She had the “dawg in her” on the field today!!!!!

Bailey came down with a crucial lead off hit that was a double in the 6th inning!!!! She was awarded the 6-7 bling!!!!

To watch you all rally and make the win happen was amazing!!!

MCI Softball Would Like to Give a HUGE Shoutout to Coach John Dean, Who Will Be Stepping Down from his Role as JV Coach After 5 Seasons. Mr. Dean is Going to Spend More Time With Family & Be Able to Watch His Children Compete in Their Spring Sports.

This Past Years’ Senior Class Was One of the Most Winningest Classes in the History of MCI, & Coach Dean Played a BIG Part In That, Working With Some of the Girls For Almost 10 Years.
Thank You For Everything You Have Given the Program & Enjoy Your Time With Family!!! 🐾 🥎
