I can’t thank all of you enough for making the 2026 Table Hockey Season an amazing one. In just a couple of months, we created one of the top 10 table hockey leagues in the US. It was great getting to know each of you this season and I look forward to staying in touch.

Congratulations go to Duffy Miller, Jason McBride, and Chris Zielinksi for taking home Gold Silver and Bronze in the Stiga “A” Division and to Jonathan(JJ) John, Shane Turk, and Chris Zielinksi for taking home the Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the Stiga “B” Division.

Meanwhile we had some heavyweight matchups in the E Division Stiga Championship as #2 ranked US player, Mike Hubbard, took down #6 ranked Dean Moore in a hard fought 5 game series, and I upset Eric DiBacco in a hard fought series for the Bronze Medal. Also in the E Division, I won the Gold, while Dean Moore took Silver, and Eric DiBacco beat George Eckert for Bronze in a tough series.

The Saloon of Mt. Lebanon and 31 Sports Bar - Grille closed out the regular season this week.

Pictured, Ariel Villaverde, wrapped up the Saloon Regular Season A Division Coleco Title, against Jason McBride, who took home the A Division Stiga Regular Season Title. Very close behind them, Duffy Miller and PJ McGuigan, look to pull out the upset in the A Division Championship over the next 2 weeks.

Ohio Valley Table Hockey League Upcoming Playoff Schedule:

3/2: Coleco Playoffs @ 31 Sports Bar in Bridgeville.

(31 Sports Bar players and Saloon “B” Division should be there by 6:30 as puck drop is 6:45, 7:30 for “A” Group, and 8:15PM for “E” Division. Top 3 finishers in “B” earn their way into the “A” playoffs, top 3 finishers in “A” playoffs earn their way into “E” playoffs.)

3/9: Stiga Playoffs (exact same format as Coleco Playoffs)

The Detroit International Tournament is 3/26-27. Please let me know if any of you want to play in it or have any questions. (Seedings in Division A and B are based on total points as you are rewarded for showing up. E Division is seeded by Win Percentage as most have to travel a long way, and I have to be there both nights).

NHL Veteran Kenny Wregget dominated Week 5 play with 27 WINS! Jason & Chris both had BIG weeks too, taking control of the A & B Divisions respectfully.

After playing in an international tournament, Tom Kearns wants to start a local league of table hockey, with the first season scheduled for Tuesdays at The Saloon beginning January 13.
