The final score of the weekend may say 2-2, but this tournament was about so much more than wins and losses!

Our Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners 9U Gold battled all weekend against 10U competition at the Coaster Classic in Sandusky, finishing pool play 2-1 and ending the tournament with an impressive 2-2 record while playing up an age division. We couldn’t be more proud of how these girls competed! 💪

What stood out most wasn’t just the softball—it was the attitude, energy, and support they showed each other every step of the way. Whether they were making plays on the field or cheering from the dugout, these girls stayed loud, positive, and united all weekend long. 🤗

The memories made off the field were just as special! From team hotel fun and lunch together, to an unforgettable evening at Cedar Point, this group continued to build friendships and create moments they’ll remember for years to come.

Thank you to all of our families for making the weekend so special. We’re proud of the way these girls represented the Lady Roadrunners organization both on and off the field. 💙💛

⚡️**2-1 in Pool Play!**⚡️

The Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners 9U Gold had a strong showing during pool play in the 2026 Coaster Classic in Sandusky, Ohio, finishing 2-1, while competing up an age division against all 10U teams!

🥎 Game 1: Defeated LV Lightning (Goodrich) 10U 16-8
🥎 Game 2: Defeated Lancaster Heat (Khalil) 10U 15-9
🥎 Game 3: Fell to Lemont Lightning 10U-Russell 6-2

Our girls battled hard, scoring 33 runs in three games and proving they can compete with older competition. We couldn’t be more proud of their effort, energy, and teamwork!

Now it’s time to rest up, enjoy some team bonding at Cedar Point, and get ready for bracket play. 🎢💙💛

The Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners 9U Gold are headed to Sandusky, Ohio this weekend to compete in the Coaster Classic! We're excited to hit the field, compete against some great teams, and continue making memories together.

Congratulations to our coach, Alysha Cutri, on graduating this past weekend from Mount Aloysius College! 🎓

Alysha earned her degree in Criminology, and we are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and commitment she has shown both in the classroom and on the field. She continues to be an incredible role model for our girls, leading by example and showing them what it means to work hard toward your goals.
