What a great way to finish our summer schedule with a runner up finish at the All Sanctioned World Series! We played and competed against top competition in all 3 events we entered. What an absolute tremendous group of girls I had the privilege & pleasure to meet and take the field with each game. Most, if not all of these girls joined this team out of their love for the game, to disprove any doubt they may have had about their skillset that for one reason or another was doubted or not recognized properly. They wanted to have some fun playing a game they have spent their lives enjoying and competing at, fun that in some cases was lost due to any number of reasons over the past year.
And let me say... they proved softball is still fun and their abilities were on par or exceeded anyone's they stepped on the field with game in and game out. So thank you to each and every one of you for this opportunity to be a part of your journey...
