Giving a quick update on my transition into a plant based diet. I’m so glad I made this choice. ❤️ I would love to hear what everyone else is doing, nutrition wise too.
I am in week 2 and feeling great but weak. I decided to eat seafood for now, but will probably eliminate it in the long run. Here are the supplements I am taking, since I am nolonger consuming animal protein with the exception of sea food. Vitamin b12, iodine, and cod liver oil.
Positive results: since I have eliminated as much processed food as possible and replaced it with food high in fiber I do not get hungry easily. In fact, I feel like I am not consuming enough calories now because I am not getting hunger signals like I did with processed foods like protein bars, bagged food on the go…high white sugar foods, etc…I feel great but again slightly weak.
I am working out daily. My stamina is increasing but the weight I generally lift for strength training sessions is decreasing.
