Giving a quick update on my transition into a plant based diet. I’m so glad I made this choice. ❤️ I would love to hear what everyone else is doing, nutrition wise too.

I am in week 2 and feeling great but weak. I decided to eat seafood for now, but will probably eliminate it in the long run. Here are the supplements I am taking, since I am nolonger consuming animal protein with the exception of sea food. Vitamin b12, iodine, and cod liver oil.
Positive results: since I have eliminated as much processed food as possible and replaced it with food high in fiber I do not get hungry easily. In fact, I feel like I am not consuming enough calories now because I am not getting hunger signals like I did with processed foods like protein bars, bagged food on the go…high white sugar foods, etc…I feel great but again slightly weak.

I am working out daily. My stamina is increasing but the weight I generally lift for strength training sessions is decreasing.

Well, I set this page up a long time ago but did not utilize it. I apologize for anyone who joined expecting tips and advice.

I will now be posting. Recently I have made a shift in my diet. I hate to use that word so let’s call it eating habits. I am transitioning into a whole food plant based diet. I’d like to use this page to share tips and experiences with others working towards developing a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise.

I have decided to change into a plant based diet becuase for years I have suffered from what I would call an unhealthy gut. Does anyone else feel they have gut issues? I’d love to hear what you are facing and any tips you’d suggest for others. I will be sharing mine own experience and tips as well. Nutrition is a priority for me today because I’m determined to feel good and live long and I wish the same for you 🙏.

There is so much junk out there about what we should be eating. It’s time we get together and discuss and evaluate our findings to improve our lives.
