🎉 Love planning events? Enjoy bringing people together? Want to help make Crafton even more fun and connected? Then the Crafton Borough Recreation Board might be calling your name!
We’re the team behind many of the community events that make Crafton special — from seasonal celebrations to family-friendly activities that bring neighbors together. If you like organizing, brainstorming creative ideas, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, we’d love to have you join us.
✨ What’s involved?
* Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM (in Council Chambers at 140 Bradford Avenue or on Zoom)
* Planning and organizing community events
* Helping with event prep, coordination, and clean-up
🥳 What do we do?
The Recreation Board plans recreational programs for Crafton residents, schedules and supervises events in our parks and community spaces, and makes recommendations to Borough Council to keep our recreation offerings fun, inclusive, and engaging.
🧡 Who can apply?
* You must be a full-time resident of the Borough of Crafton
* Members serve a four-year term and are appointed by Crafton Borough Council
* Experience in events, parks, or local government is helpful, but not required
* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are a must!
