Congratulations to Senior Afton Glade on getting ranked after her killer performance at the district championships. Her bracket was likely the strongest in the state of Texas. Our District 3-9 5A was the only district in the state to have all 4 placers ranked in the TOP 20.

Not All, but some of the pictures from yesterday's District Tournament in Melissa. I think last picture is one of my favorites, while the focus yesterday was wrestling, Coach Billy Hashaway III spent some of our down time speaking to the kids about the importance of preparing for college and keeping a high GPA, recruitment and scholarship information.

Meet your Lady Pirate Varsity District Tournament Roster! Tomorrow, the Lady Pirate Wrestling team is competing in the District 9 5A Championship Tournament in Prosper at Walnut Grove High School to take on wrestlers from the following schools:

Join us in congratulating senior captain Afton Glade for becoming the first wrestler in our girl's wrestling program to achieve 20 regular season wins! Afton went 20-6 this season with 18 of those by fall. Afton and The Lady Pirate Wrestling team will travel to Prosper Walnut Grove to compete in the district 9-5A championship tournament on Wednesday January 28th.
