Join Aviva Saturday Mornings for Gentle Flow!

This class is perfect for beginners, those easing back into practice, or anyone looking for a balanced experience that offers both gentle movement and relaxation.

Gentle Flow is a slow, mindful flow-style class that links breath with movement at an easy, accessible pace. You’ll move through simple sequences designed to build mobility, improve circulation, and create a sense of steady, grounded flow without rushing or strain. Transitions are intentional, with time to explore each posture and maintain awareness of alignment and breath.

Modifications and props are encouraged throughout, so you can tailor the practice to your needs. Register under Classes!

Yoga Nidra is offered once a month on the 1st Wednesdays.

Often called “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative, guided meditation practiced lying down in a comfortable, supported position. In this class, you’ll be led through a series of awareness techniques—such as body scanning, breath awareness, and visualization—to help calm the nervous system and invite profound relaxation.

There is no physical movement required, making Yoga Nidra accessible to all bodies and experience levels. As you rest between waking and sleeping, the practice supports stress reduction, improved sleep, and emotional balance. You’re encouraged to make yourself as cozy as possible with blankets, bolsters, and props.

You’ll leave feeling deeply rested, grounded, and renewed—often as if you’ve taken a full, restorative nap.

Welcome to Thursdays at Pittsboro Yoga!
💜💜💜

🌟Morning Flow with Roz, 8:30 - 9:45am
Awaken the body and release overnight stiffness! A relaxed-paced class that builds warmth without intensity, helping to improve mobility, increase circulation, and create a sense of calm, steady energy for the day ahead.

🌟Vinyasa Flow with Lisa, 6 - 7:15pm
A dynamic, breath-centered practice that links movement and breath into a continuous, fluid sequence. Each class offers a thoughtfully paced flow - building strength, flexibility, and balance while inviting a sense of presence and ease. You’ll find a blend of sun salutations, standing postures, and mindful transitions, with options offered throughout to support a range of bodies and experience levels.

🌟Yin Yoga with Jaime, 7:30 - 8:30pm
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the body’s deep connective tissues, joints, and ligaments rather than the muscles to invite a deeper opening and enhance the flow of energy through the body. Seated or reclined postures are held for 3–5 minutes, allowing the body to gently open while encouraging stillness of mind. Yin Yoga is a complement to more dynamic practices.

Wednesday evenings have a rotating offering of classes. This Wednesday kicks off Restorative Yoga with Eva! You’ll find her on the 4th Wednesday of the month - register under Classes!

Restorative Yoga is the art of conscious relaxation and is based on traditional Hatha practices in that it includes asana, pranayama, and opening of the body. However, unlike a traditional Hatha class, restorative yoga focuses on stillness, full body support, and regulation of the nervous system. Rather than “doing” as we would in a traditional asana class, restorative yoga asks to focus on “being”.

Restorative yoga invites the practitioner to rest deeply in stillness, using props to support the body so that the nervous system can shift into a parasympathetic state of healing and restoration.

Suitable for all levels, including those recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply needing rest. Restorative Yoga offers a quiet space to slow down, reset, and reconnect.
