💛 🎗️ BATTLE FOR ANDY WILHOIT🎗️💛

Some tournaments are about wins, losses and championships. This one is about something much bigger.

Many in our softball community know Andy Wilhoit, (he and his wife Angie are founders of our local Crusaders organization) and right now they are facing another battle with cancer. After encouraging scans showing no new tumors or visible growth, doctors found concerning fluid in his abdomen. That means Andy is facing another major surgery on October 5th and an expected recovery of at least three months.

Through it all, his faith hasn’t wavered. His words say it best:

“God got me through this once and there’s no doubt He will be by my side again. Nothing is too big or small for our God. Cancer does not define me.” 🙏

So on September 26th in Johnson City, our DC Fastpitch family is going to do what our softball community does best - show up!

We are extremely proud of our ladies that represented Crusaders Fastpitch and East Tn down at DC Elite All Stars this weekend in Spartanburg!!! 💙 The ability to build new friendships, battle in 105 degree heat, and compete like you do every time yal lace them up is a testament to your work ethic and heart. Good advice for players looking to play at the next level after high school. Go to camps! Meet coaches face to face! If you want to play for a school, know and follow the school or university. They want more than just ability!
