Hey - time to vent. Recently bartered for an item on marketplace. I typically let folks know I am a small dealer and am willing to trade certain inventory (with background check of course). In this deal the individual was interested at first with guns and asked about getting a suppressor - which I don't carry.

Long story short - traded for other, non-firearm items after the Individual admitted he is a felon. There were some bumps in the trade that I tried to make right over the span of a week, but overall he seems to have buyers remorse and has resorted to physical threats, harassing texts, and negative posts on Facebook.

I have filed a local police report, and I am considering a report to his probation officer. Ultimately just want to end the harassment.

I just saw a post from an individual regarding Tennessee's updated defense of property law claiming that 'White People' care more about animals especially dogs more than Black People.

The astounding ignorance of this comparison in the context of deadly force to PROTECT PROPERTY. There are numerous other laws already in place regarding the defense of self and other People.

Once again, framing an issue out of context. This new law simply adds specific, serious crimes (arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, aggravated cruelty to animals) to the list where deadly force MAY be justified, with some serious “cannot otherwise be protected” and “risk of serious harm” thresholds.
