Beth Bryant CPT I am a christian, wife, mom, nurse, personal trainer, and triathlete. I work at the YMCA to help others reach their goals. My name is Beth.

Following Jesus is my main goal. I also love to run, bike, swim, and lift. I have also been a nurse for almost 15 years and am drawn to the geriatric population. I have been married for 18 years with 3 boys. I enjoy playing and watching most sports. I am a buckeye at heart but settle as a tiger in my new home here in South Carolina.

What causes cravings?
~ Emotional response to stress
~ Habitual eating
~ An overly restrictive diet

How to deal with cravings:
+ Set a 10 minute timer before eating
+ Stay hydrated
+ Eat a balanced diet
+ Ensure you get 8 hrs of sleep
+ Replace a habit of snacking with physical activity

Here is a fun piece of equipment!
Full-body workout
When performed correctly, the sled push will work both upper and lower body muscles. More specifically, this exercise will engage your:

quadriceps
glutes
calves
hamstrings
abdominals
hip flexors
chest
triceps
shoulders

All these muscles will be engaged whether you add weight to the sled or not.
