Here is a page from our book “The Trick Horse Companion” on pedestal training. And a short video in the new barn showing that I do ‘practice what I preach’. If you are interested in ‘Performance Liberty’ pedestals are invaluable and add a new dimension to your training and more importantly keep the horses focused and engaged. With pedestal training there is no ‘gray area’ between your request and the horses’ response. Please take the time and look around to see what other trainers/clinicians and performers are doing. As far as I know there is no others doing anything remotely like Imagine a Horse. If you would like to set yourself apart from the crowd we are here to help.

In the previous video Truco was shown learning to make a basic figure-of-eight around two pedestals set on opposite sides of the 45 ft round pen. Now we show Destello standing on one of the pedestals. This adds a element of complexity for Truco to figure out. Think it is easy? Give it a try..
