Here’s something interesting:
Your body experiences anxiety and excitement almost the exact same way.
Racing heart.
Butterflies.
Adrenaline.
Energy.
Before an interview, a presentation, or a difficult conversation, it’s easy to assume those feelings mean something is wrong.
But what if they’re actually a sign that you’re about to do something important?
One thing I learned years ago that has helped me:
When I notice myself getting nervous, I try to say, “I’m excited” instead.
It sounds simple, but it changes the way I interpret what’s happening in my body.
The next time you’re feeling anxious before a big moment, give it a try.
You may discover you’re more ready than you think.
