AZ weather is starting to cool down πŸ’ƒπŸΌ πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ’ƒπŸΌHubby & I decided to take one last hike before this baby πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ girl decides to come. ☺️ I am officially 11 days away from my due date but I'm not setting my hopes on that date...she can come any time before or after. Hopefully not after 😐 Although, I do feel like she's pretty snug and comfortable in there πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

The other day I got asked what are some ways to motivate yourself when you absolutely do not want to workout/eat right. Just because I'm passionate about fitness it does not mean that I am instilled with a drive and the motivation everyday to go to the gym or watch my intake. We ALL have days where motivation can be hard to find. These are the days where you need to remind yourself of your goals and do it regardless of how you feel. If you're not consistent with your plan then the results will not come!
Today took every-freakin-ounce of me to drag my butt to the gym. I could've come up with a million excuses why I didn't want to go but it's Wednesday and I haven't been to the gym this week. Had I skipped today the same habit probably would've rolled into tomorrow, maybe even the rest of the week. The best outlook I can have on slummy days is to remind myself how much better I'll feel when I'm done! Today was a perfect example. I felt SO great post-workout. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼 So when ya just don't feel like doing it, !!! No magical answer.

I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by but damn am I ready for the day to be here. Counting down each day is not helping 😣 I've been MIA lately but boy does it feel great to take a break from social media. Getting the nursery ready has been taking a chunk of my time and I still feel like everything is upside down!! Looking for some low-carb deliciousness?! Many of my clients struggle on low carb days because 1) It's low carb day- AKA sucks! 2) They struggle finding ways to reach their protein macro goal.
This pancake is one of my favorite (and easy) ways to pack in a ton of protein. It has 30g protein (not including the topping I usually use)! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ
I love anything Birthday Cake flavor and came out with this amazing flavor πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ eek!! πŸ˜€
Ingredients below can be adjusted to fit your macro goals :-) entire pancake is only 135 cal πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
- 17g Max Muscle Birthday cake flavor protein
- 138g egg whites
⭐️Beat well together and pour on hot pan (I used coconut oil). Cover with lid, as this helps it cook better making it fluffier and easier to flip! πŸ™ƒ
That simple! Top with which ever ingredients you prefer! I used plain Greek yogurt, sprinkles and Walden farms SF syrup πŸ˜‹

⭐️Left- before fit lifestyle (end 2009). ⭐️Right- just before getting preggo (end 2016). True results takes time. Too often people throw in the towel after just one or two months of training because they're frustrated with not seeing the progress they want. Making a LIFEstyle change takes time (hence: LIFE)! If you truly want to transform your life to living healthier (physically & mentally) it's not going to happen overnight. Have you ever started a new job and immediately get promoted within the first month? No, it takes at least a solid 6 months before you even began to get the gist of things. Same applies to this fit lifestyle. It's a matter of being patient because you have to find what works for you. From working-out to nutrition, to work/home life.
If you want long lasting results than you must be 100% committed to really WANTING to change and ready to accept that it will take time, dedication and hard work! This comparison doesn't mean it'll take you THAT long to physically see results (this can come within the first 4 months), but a true inside-out change does take a much longer time!
Enough with the "quick-fix" crap, it'll only leave you frustrated and right back where you began (maybe even a few steps back)!

Since I love PBJ so much I've decided why not toss this amazingness into my no-bake protein bars?!! πŸ‘πŸΌ
Ingredients:
- 3 scoops Vanilla Ice cream flavor🍦
- ΒΌ cup PBfit Powder (or PB2)πŸ₯œ
- 1 Β½ cup Raw Oats
- Β½ cup Chunky Peanut ButterπŸ₯œ
- 5 tbsp Strawberry fruit spreadπŸ“
- ¼ cup sugar-free maple syrup🍯
- 1-2 tbsp Unsweetened Cashew MilkπŸ₯›

A hearty meal that won't derail you from your fitness goals! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Cabbage rolls are a traditional Romanian dish πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡© (yes, I'm Romanian!) but usually packed with dense (fatty) calories.
