BIKRAM YOGA CONTINUING EDUCATION WEEKEND
20 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Hours
September 25–27, 2026
JTown Hot Yoga | Jenkintown + Maple Shade
Investment: $495
Whether you’re a newer Bikram teacher, have been teaching for years, or it’s been a minute since you’ve stepped into the role of teacher, this weekend is an opportunity to come back to the method, deepen your understanding, and sharpen the skills that make a class truly effective.
Knowing the dialogue is the foundation. Understanding why it works, how to use it, and how to lead the room beyond simply reciting it is where the craft of teaching begins.
Over 20 hours together, we’ll explore:
• Posture clinics and a deeper understanding of the 26 & 2 sequence
• The architecture and intention of the Bikram dialogue
• Effective cueing: what we say, why we say it, and when
• Common mis-cues, myths, and teaching habits that have been passed down over time
• Seeing bodies and understanding what is actually happening in the posture
• Corrections, assists, and coaching students effectively
• Room management, pacing, timing, energy, and presence
• How to lead without over-teaching or becoming dependent on the script
• Working with beginners while continuing to challenge experienced practitioners
• Understanding the development of a student’s practice over time
• Individual teaching feedback and coaching
• Building the confidence, clarity, and command to become a more effective room leader
This is not about reinventing the Bikram method. It is about understanding it more deeply so you can teach it more skillfully.
If you’ve stepped away from teaching and want to reconnect, come back.
If you’re newer and want to build a stronger foundation, come learn.
If you’ve taught hundreds or thousands of classes, come refine your craft.
New and experienced Bikram teachers are welcome.
