A sixth-round pick out of Cincinnati, Kelce started all sixteen games as a rookie center, the first in Eagles history to do it. Thirteen seasons followed, all in Philadelphia: a Super Bowl championship, seven Pro Bowls, and the most starts in franchise history.

That rookie season began on September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks. This Friday marks fifteen years since that first start.

1996: the Ravens’ first season in Baltimore, and Ray Lewis was their second pick ever, 26th overall. He led the team in tackles as a rookie and never stopped, finishing as the last active player from that inaugural roster.

2003: Terrell Suggs arrived at 10th overall and set a franchise rookie record with 12 sacks, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year despite starting only one game.
