I’ve been watching something frustrating play out over and over again.

People buy expensive AI tools, spend weeks trying to figure them out, and then wonder why nothing changed. Their deals aren’t moving faster. Their analysis still takes forever. They’re still drowning in the same busywork.

And the reason has nothing to do with the tool.

It’s that they skipped the step that makes AI actually work.

Here’s what I learned building my $10M portfolio: AI doesn’t replace bad systems. It just makes them faster. A vague process run by AI is still vague. A clear, repeatable system run by AI becomes unstoppable.

When I finally systematized my investing framework - really nailed it down so anyone could follow it - and then brought AI in, everything compounded. People in our community went from analyzing 3 deals a day to 15. From closing 2 deals a year to 8.

The AI didn’t make anyone smarter. It amplified what was already working.

This isn't laziness. It's not even fear, exactly. It's something I call performing readiness - and it's the most common trap I see smart, careful people fall into.
