Parents!

We want to hear from you!

The Board is teetering the idea of splitting Grasshopper and Peewee Games to opposite nights, Peewee would be Monday/Wednesday and Grasshopper would be Tuesday/Thursday.

We know it seems to be a struggle for multi player families when they have them on two different levels. So instead of making you choose which child to watch that night, or travel and rush around in 20 different directions, this may be an option.

Also keep in mind, that this MAY affect the TBall Season, which is the Month of June.

What are your thoughts? Yay, nah any other suggestions??

Good Evening Baseball Family,

Even though the Season has ended, the behind the scenes never stop! You are going to find changes, specifically on the back end of the Indian River Program as whole!

We are so excited for these changes and for what’s to come!

So for starters, here are a few words from the new COMMISSIONER :

‘’North Country — I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as the new Commissioner of the Indian River Baseball League.

IRBL is rooted in our small communities and the kids who grow up loving this game. Over the next few months, we’ll be connecting with local leaders, coaches, and volunteers to explore ways we can improve playing surfaces, strengthen conditions, and support the development of young athletes across our region.

This league belongs to our towns, our families, and our youth. We’re excited to begin this work together and share updates as they come.

⚾ INDIAN RIVER YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE — BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED ⚾

Indian River Youth Baseball League is currently looking for dedicated volunteers to help lead and grow our program for the future of our players and community.

We are currently seeking individuals interested in the following positions:

• Commissioner
• Potential Vice Commissioner
• Treasurer
• Potential Secretary
• Potential Director for the Evans Mills Program

These positions are extremely important in helping keep our league organized, successful, and focused on providing the best experience possible for our players and families.

No prior board experience is required — just a willingness to work as a team, communicate, and help support youth baseball in our community. Only requirement is you must live in the Programs Jurisdiction to include the Town of Philadelphia, Theresa, LeRay, Pamelia and Village of Philadelphia, Theresa and Evans Mills.

The success of our league depends on volunteers stepping up both on and off the field. Fresh ideas, leadership, and community involvement are what keep youth sports strong.
