It’s with mixed emotions that I announce I will be making a transition in my teaching and coaching career. After 23 years with the School District of Philadelphia, I will be moving on to a new school district.
Starting in September I will be teaching and coaching at Howard High School in Wilmington,DE. Despite what you might think, this was a very difficult decision as I didn’t want to leave the amazing young men of the MLK Wrestling team! However I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse at my new school. Working with them for the past 14 season and watching these boys transform into successful men and fathers made dealing with all the SDP’s BS a lot easier.
I want to thank every young man and woman that put on the Purple and Gold and battled on the mat. Whether you wrestled 1 match or were a 4 year starer and 100 match winner, Thank you for trusting this crazy dude. If not for that trust i would have never been able to chase my own dreams. I will always bleed Purple and Gold and will continue to help my current and former wrestlers the best I can.

The MLK Cougars placed 7th out of 17 teams at the District XII Championships this weekend. Five Cougars punched their ticket to the regional tournament next weekend in Bethlehem PA where the road to Hershey only gets tougher! Congrats to the following place winners
