Reading words like these reminds me why I do what I do. đź’›

It is such a privilege to support people from my own local community through pregnancy, postpartum, and all the changes that come with becoming a parent. To witness that journey—from their first prenatal class to welcoming their little one into Baby & Me yoga—is something I never take for granted. Molly started prenatal yoga with me not long after moving to the neighborhood. She’s an uber-talented opera singer and youth performing arts teacher who’s now practiced with Surya Moon Yoga through two pregnancy and postpartum journeys 👶👶

Watching families grow and knowing our Surya Moon Yoga community can be a place of comfort, authentic connection, and support is the greatest gift.

To everyone who has rolled out a mat with me so far: Thank you. Your stories, your brave vulnerability and your trust inspire me every day as I sustain and evolve my offerings at Surya Moon Yoga. 🤍

The is a neighborhood treasure that my family and I have hiked and biked for years. Last fall I started sharing it with expectant and new parents through my weekly mindful nature walk, 🌳

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Brad Maule, Executive Director of Friends of the Cresheim Trail at their 2026 fundraiser, Taste of the Trail. I thanked Brad for his team’s dedication to stewarding and expanding public trails and told him about how our group has benefited from weekly gatherings walking the Cresheim loop for fun, fitness and friendship.

I’m excited to announce that registration is live for my Father’s Day weekend Daddy + Me Yoga Pop-up class!

A Friday morning Baby & Me Yoga regular asked if I could put this together, and I couldn’t be happier to!

This is a unique opportunity for dads to deepen the bond with their baby through movement and play, alongside fellow new fathers. Expect a fun, beginner-friendly (no flexibility required!) yoga class with welcoming, laid-back vibe.

Early-bird pricing ends this Sunday, and enrollment is limited to only 10 spots.

We’ve been back to weekly walks for almost weeks now. Every week the babies and the forest have changed noticeably! We spied a young fox on our way into the woods and heard a woodpecker busy overhead midway through. We always stop to tune into the environment and steadily deepen our breaths. Sometimes I share a poem that reflects the season (of the year or of parenthood!)

This Saturday I’m excited to host an prenatal yoga workshop featuring Paige Greeley .milk …

Expect an all-levels, all-trimesters mind-body practice, followed by time to chat and learn from Paige’s expertise on lactation and infant feeding. Tea and treats provided; bring all your questions!
