Here's another full team effort for the Blue side play of the week from Saturday! It starts with multiple phases of full team pressure off the set piece to force a handling error. The Gryphons reclaim the ball, quickly find our shape, and move the ball out wide where Shawn finds himself in position for a bit of individual magic to finish things off!

Great work Gryphons!

Once again it is a full team effort for our Play of the Week! This is the Gold Squad against Baltimore last weekend and we'll have a play from the Blue side later.

We start off with a successful pick off the base of the scrum to give us a good attacking platform and play our structure with all 15 players across the width of the field.

After 4 phases Dylan finishes things off with a powerful run. Great work Gryphons!

Shout out to Murph, Andrew, and Juan for earning Forward, Gryphon, and Back of the Game respectively for their performances over the weekend!

Big thanks to Connor for refereeing our match over the weekend! Tim also handled the first half of the second match and despite what JP says, we think he did a great job too!

10/23/2026

We've got a Philly Gryphon double header tomorrow with a huuuuge Pride of Gryphons taking the field against Happy Valley and the Flamingos! Come join us at Edgely Field (you can set your GPS to Laurel Hill Mansion) for an awesome day of rugby.

Good luck and let's gooooooooo Gryphons!

It was a full team effort for this week's Play of the Week! The forwards covered the lineout, and continued to work through multiple phases to spread out into the defensive line and keep the pressure up. This allowed us to take advantage of the turnover and have 8 different players get their hands on the ball as the backs led the charge up the field for a try from Dan.

Great stuff Gryphons!

10/20/2026

Congratulations to Simon, Juan, and Chris for earning Back, Gryphon, and Forward of the Game last weekend! We're looking forward to seeing who joins them this upcoming Saturday!

10/20/2026

Shout out to our Supporters of the Match (and also our boat race winners!) Patrick, Abby, and Jasper!

The Philly Gryphons are extremely fortunate to have such a large community of awesome people in our Club and we always appreciate everyone showing up for us!

10/15/2026
