Mike and Dottie met at Bible College in Florida. After moving to Pennsylvania in 1979, Mike’s father-in-law an avid hunter introduced him to hunting and he fell in love with both hunting and the state Pennsylvania. Mike and Dottie have been married 38 years and have raised 3 daughters. Dottie has joined Mike in hunting and in 2015 got her first buck with a cross bow. Over the years Mike has harvested many good bucks with his bow, including 2 “Pope and Young” class bucks. Mike and Dottie call their show “The Stand with Mike and Dottie” because they want to take a stand for Christ while hunting from tree stands and enjoying God’s great outdoors. On every adventure, if you look for it, God will teach you something about Himself. That’s what Mike and Dottie want to share, a show about awesome hunting and an awesome creator who made it all possible.
