Not sure of what you're signing up for? Well let us break down the ages/divisions for you and that way you can find out which spot your kiddo will be most successful in!
Quickball (Ages 4-6):
Quickball is a high-speed, low-pressure baseball training sport — a hybrid program for all ages that teaches but doesn’t dictate.
One session per week managed by PBA coaches. These are typically on FRIDAY nights.
Ages 6 and under
Focus is on fun while learning the fundamentals of the game of baseball in a relaxed environment

Rookies/Minor Prep (Ages 6-8):
Machine and/or Coach Pitch.
Games on Sunday afternoons with one practice during the week
Recreational Level
Ages 6-8
46/60 field
4 outfielders permitted
5 strikes then tee to start; after game 3 we will assess the skill level to determine if changes are needed (i.e. strikeouts/no tee)
No umpires; called by coaches
Minors (Ages 8-10):
Kid pitch
Games on Sunday afternoons with one practice during the week
Ages 8-10
NOTE: Depending on numbers, we will offer a competitive division (teams consisting of and playing against primarily travel players). There will be an option to select competitive or intramural during registration. This is not guaranteed to happen and will also be dependent on other leagues we play, but we are trying to gauge interest.
46/60 field dimensions
3 outfielders
No leads but steals after ball has crossed plate
No dropped third strike, infield fly, or balks
Minimum 1 umpire (may be a junior umpire)
Majors (Ages 10-12):
Kid pitch
Games on Sunday afternoons with one practice during the week
Ages 10-12

Senior League - Connie Mack/Fall Suburban (Ages 12-16):
Games on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons with 1-2 practices during the week.
Ages 12-16
60/90 field dimensions
Full baseball- leads, steals, dropped 3rd strike, balks, infield fly rule
Play against teams from other Townships
Typically, no standings or playoffs

A good program for 12 year olds who will be 13 next spring to get acclimated to the larger field
