⚔️ SABRES 10U STAY PERFECT — MOVING TO 10-0! ⚔️
The bats were HOT and the pitching was dominant tonight as Academy Sabres 10u rolled past Torresdale with a huge mercy-rule victory! Final score ended 13-3 after another complete team performance from the kids in blue and black!
Offensively the Sabres were locked in from top to bottom:
💣 Xavier launched a HOME RUN and finished with 3 RBIs
🔥 Garry had a huge night at the plate with a single, aggressive base running, and heads-up hustle that turned overthrows into extra bases and a run scored. He added another single and finished with 4 RBIs
⚡ Zach stayed hot with a triple, single, and 3 RBIs
💪 Carter smoked a double and added a single
🚀 Steven ripped a double and added an RBI
🎯 Harrison lined a hard-hit single
👏 Kayden added a single
🏁 John delivered the run-scoring hit to end the game by run rule
The Sabres offense also stayed patient at the plate, drawing 10 walks and constantly putting pressure on the defense.
On the mound, the pitching staff absolutely DEALT:
🔥 John pitched 3 strong innings with 7 strikeouts and allowed just 1 baserunner
🔥 Zach pitched 2 innings with 5 strikeouts and three walks
Defense also stepped up with some great plays tonight:
⚾️Zach made a great low catch on a line drive in foul territory
⚾️John made multiple heads-up defensive plays, including fielding a slow roller while pitching and later making a great play behind the plate with a strong throw to first for the out
