Club Spotlight: Rochdale Lacrosse Club

Wrapping up our England club highlights with Rochdale Lacrosse Club—one of the sport’s most historic programs, founded in 1888!

Located in the northeastern part of Greater Manchester, Rochdale is a proud community club offering opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels. Most recently, the men’s first team earned promotion back to the Premiership of the Northern England League—a testament to the club’s continued growth and competitiveness.

With a strong focus on coaching, development, and community, Rochdale is helping to grow the game from the ground up.

Next up in our England club highlights is Timperley Lacrosse Club—one of the largest and most active clubs in the UK!

Founded in 1970 and based in Altrincham, Manchester, Timperley has been a leader in growing the game—hosting overseas coaches since 1983 and running a top-tier development program that reaches local schools.

With a dedicated team of coaches and volunteers and top-quality AstroTurf pitches, Timperley continues to be one of the best lacrosse clubs in the UK.
