So what happened.

It’s October 2023.
We are 22 months into a 16 month home renovation. Which includes expanding facilities for production. We just received our bag order and the bags were made incorrectly. (story for another time)We need to ship so we use them.
We are also waiting for delivery of our plastic shipment that is going to get us past relocation/restart of our supplier. We are informed that our order was destroyed in shipping. I Did not understand how something like that could happen. I mean “everything destroyed?” A very nice. Very sympathetic representative told me with a slight southern drawl. “ I have no specific information pertaining to this specific situation. But I can assure you it was fork truck related “ I asked what that means? they said “ it means it was either poked, smashed, run over or dropped by a forklift!” Instant clarity! No problem we can reorder. Not so fast. Order window was closed until further notice.
So we are full speed with factory expansion and design finalization of some really exciting new products.

We are temporarily halting production.

We get Al’s original plastic formula made exclusively for F**T by one manufacturer.

Unfortunately the relocation of their factory is taking longer than anticipated. We have enough material to finish the orders we have currently pending. We do not have enough to continue to accept new orders at this time.

We understand this is going to have a negative impact on your summer and we apologize for disappointing everyone.

For those who fish the same area of the North Branch, there is a new Tackle Shop in Tunkhannock, PA. T-Town Bait & Tackle

They are well stocked with River Smallmouth tackle and will soon be carrying F**t Premium Lures including their Stone Cattee and Chillee Willee baits.

Stop in and pay them a visit. They are right in the Weis Shopping Center of Rt29 in Tunkhannock.

So here’s the first color for our comparison test. Black & tan. this color combo works remarkably well across different profiles. Still interested to see if there’s any performance differences between smooth and ribbed because the public has spoken. based on appearance. They prefer ribbs. Thanks to everyone for your feedback. Special thanks to those “friends “ that reminded me if they don’t catch during testing. it could possibly be because I am a horrible angler. If I want to hear that kind of stuff I can just call my parents.

I need some help. I’m in the process of testing this design. We are evaluating the performance in the water. Trying to determine if the fish have a preference.

Just by looking at them which one would you buy? the worm rib or smooth finish.
Why am I asking.? If I test these and one greatly outperforms the other the choice of which to produce is obvious.
If they are equal in performance I would need to know which one you would be most likely to purchase. One of the biggest challenges we wrestle with is the statement “ that doesn’t look like it will catch “. Which is something we often hear. Something I have said. About the molds I got from Al! so now I let the fish decide what looks like it will catch. Turns out everything al made catches. Don’t take my word. Try them. You get baits from us and they don’t catch. We will help you figure out why. We will give you something else to try or your money back.

Try something from F**T! There’s no reason not to start today!

It’s happening everywhere.

James and Chris fished with me this busy Friday morning at Lake Anna and enjoyed steady action for largemouth. Water 75 at D**e 3 and 68-72 elsewhere. Have a safe holiday weekend out there!
