MINI SLUGGERS! ⚾️
A Baseball program set up like a tee-ball class that progresses into Mini Baseball as your child learns the basics. Mini Sluggers is for the ages of 2-5 years old.
🌟 Age Groups 🌟
⚾️ 2-3 years: Parent/Child Class: Sluggers 2-3 is designed to introduce the basics of the game in a fun way. Focus is given on simple base recognition, holding a bat properly, making contact, throwing in an overhead motion and fielding with two hands. This parent child class aims to enhance social skills such as following simple instructions and taking turns.
⚾️ 3-4 years: Independent: Sluggers 3-4 is designed to reinforce the fundamentals while focusing on simple base running, proper hitting stance & level swing, proper throwing motion and aim, fielding with two hands as well as understanding simple game situations.
⚾️ 4-5 years: Independent: Sluggers 4-5 expands skills with more technical instruction & game situations. Focus is given to proper base running, proper hitting stance, level swing, follow through, hitting a pitch, throwing for distance & accuracy, fielding & catching pop flies and learning various offensive & defensive game situations.
