TK Swim Academy

TK Swim Academy Teaching individuals of all ages & abilities how to swim and be safe in the water all 12 months of the year. Tiffany is CPR, First Aid and AED certified.

Tiffany spent her childhood and adolescent years swimming competitively through high school . At the young age of 15, she began coaching career with a swim team as well as doing private swim lessons. Once in college, she continued her love for the water by playing water polo for West Chester University. Once she graduated from college, with a teaching degree in Kinesiology (PE), she began to coach

for the competitive swim team she grew up swimming on. Tiffany then went on to obtain a Master's degree in health as well. Tiffany has spent the last 25 years coaching for various competitive swim teams in both PA and NJ and giving private swim lessons for those as young as a few months old through adults. Tiffany has also been teaching PE and health to those as young as Kindergarten through the college level. She has also obtained a certification in Water Safety Instruction. She specializes in following no one liner path to teaching those how to swim, but rather individualizing every lesson to the person's learning strengths. She is a firm believer in making every lesson fun and learning through play and games to ensure the learner is enjoying their time in the water.

Did you know that NO ONE naturally sinks to the bottom of the pool, even if they can’t swim? Yup — total myth! It actually takes a lot of control, practice, and relaxation to stay underwater on the bottom like this kiddo does in the video. 🫧

Mastering this skill means learning how to fully relax the body and slowly blow the air out of the lungs. That’s not easy — it takes confidence and body awareness in the water!
