Sept schedule for shooting lessons. More availability, and some weekend hours. More weekends in October. SUNDAY GUNDAY IS BACK!

Sunday Gunday is a lesson for beginners that would rather learn in a group atmosphere. Contact me to reserve a spot as they’re popular and fill fast. Only 10 people in the class. Bring your friends!

I take the very beginner shooters up to those who are more advanced that want to fine tune their shooting abilities. All of my lessons are one on one! YOU DO NOT NEED TO OWN A FIREARM IN ORDER TO LEARN, MINE ARE INCLUDED!

If you’ve never shot before or have limited experience you need to take a 2 hour class to start, it allows me to get you in a classroom to go over firearm safety, firearm nomenclature and finally the proper fundamentals of shooting.

This city is out of control, fi****ms aren’t for everyone BUT if you have a firearm, training is for EVERYONE! Please stay safe!

For those that missed out the first time, I’m happy to bring back Bob Clark and Erik Purcell of MPR Endurance MMA to provide the best training possible for my students.

Bob and Erik will provide you with the necessary tools you need to survive an attack and to be able to get to your firearm should you need to. If you own a firearm, this is the training you need to gain the space and time necessary to protect yourself and your family. This isn’t just fi****ms training. This is survival training for your loved ones. Your daughters, sons, moms, wives and elderly can all benefit from this training.

Cost is 95 per person.

Mark your calendar for June 25th from 5:30 to 8 pm. In an effort to bring the best training and practices possible to my students, I'm excited to announce that I will be having a gun retention and defensive tactics class. This class will consist of two hours of hands-on instruction from Bob Clark. Bob is currently the head defensive tactics instructor for the PA State Attorney General's Office. He is also an international and national jujitsu champion and a trainer in Modern Army Combatives, which is the official US Army hand-to-hand combat system. Lastly, he is the US National Sambo Team Head Coach. Sambo is what you'll see a lot of MMA fighters using in their bouts. I couldn't be more excited to offer this training opportunity to you, as this is something everyone who carries a firearm should take. There will be limited space for this class, and it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the class will be $95 per person.

People often ask how much should I train with my fi****ms. This is a question that has been around the industry for quite some time. The honest and most reasonable answer is, as much as possible. I can tell you I train daily but, not everyone has the luxury that I do to be at the range 5-6 days a week and an almost unlimited supply of ammo at my disposal. So let’s set the record straight. What kind of practice should I be doing?
Let’s break it down a little.

1. The concept of practice makes perfect is bull! Practice does not make perfect. Perfect Practice makes perfect! If you’re not doing it correctly you’re just reinforcing a bad habit. If you think you’re doing something wrong reach out to your Fi****ms Instructor for some quick tips or just schedule a lesson.
2. Be realistic! Everyone wants to shoot the target at the far end of the range but in reality the target needs to be within 5 yards of you. If you want to target shoot that’s great but more realistic survival shooting is done up close and personal.
3. Don’t waste your ammo. Practice 2,3 shot strings at a time. It’s sounds like it’s fun to unload the magazine (I hear it all the time at the range) but again, realistically you want to fire a few shots and reassess whether more shots are needed. Emphasis should always be placed on quality not quantity.
4. Please, please, please read this a couple times! Smooth = Speed! I don’t know how many times I have to tell people this! The fastest people I know are the smoothest! Your speed will build up as you become more comfortable and get more time behind your firearm. One of my favorite quotes comes from Wyatt Earp “Speed is Fine but Accuracy is EVERYTHING” no truer words were ever spoken.
5. Train with the firearm you carry the most. Everyone likes to bring 4-5 fi****ms to the range but the one you rely on the most should be the one you train with the most.
6. Change up your targets. Don’t be afraid to flip the target over and draw some symbols on the back. Most of my shooters have done this drill multiple times. Remember you’re not shooting at a X you’re shooting to areas.
