We plan to continue our FCA program this year. We averaged between 50-100 kids at these meetings last year. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This is a program that allows our athletes to come together and discuss the word of God and share their testimonies while breaking bread. We are asking for lunches to be provided on these dates so that our kids can attend these meetings during their lunch break. If you are interested in providing a lunch for these kiddos please reach out to me. We are thankful and blessed for the support our community showed last year. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to continue this program.

We have a jam packed week scheduled for homecoming. We hope to see all of our present and past Rangers and Rangerettes all week.

Monday- Movie shown on the video boards inside Ranger gym from 5-7. This is for all students at every campus. Parents can accompany the little kids if they would like. We will be showing the movie Radio. There will be a car smashing event in the student parking lot from 7-9. Liability waivers will be at the event and have to be signed by parents in order for kids to participate. This will take place in the student parking lot. This is also for all students throughout PISD.

Tuesday- Home volleyball games against Dalhart. Game times are 5, 6, and 7 pm. The Lions Club will be hosting a pancake dinner in the cafeteria this night. They will begin serving at 5:30. Information and tickets are provided under the Lions Club page. You can pre-order your meal. Come cheer on our Rettes as they start district play. This is a community wide event!!

Wednesday- We will host a fellowship service inside Ranger stadium for our students and community at 6 pm. This is a night to praise and worship all the great things our mighty God provides for all of us each day. Thank you to the youth churches that have already moved their services to the stadium to provide an awesome night.

Thursday- We will host the homecoming parade at 6:30 pm. The parade will start by Frank Phillips College and make its way towards the student parking lot. We will have vendors in attendance on this night. The burning of the PHS will also take place after the parade in the student parking lot. Come out and see our awesome cheerleaders and band members as they put on an incredible show.

Friday- We will have the homecoming pep rally that will start at 10:20 inside of Ranger gym. We will have the crowning of our homecoming king during this pep rally. We will also celebrate the accomplishments of many of our school organizations. The homecoming game will kickoff at 7 pm against Pampa. The crowning of our homecoming queen will take place during the halftime show. We welcome all of our past alum back home.

This should be a remarkable week that will celebrate all the amazing students and athletes at PHS. We look forward to some great events this year.

Perryton Golf competed in Hereford this week. The Ranger Varsity placed 3rd as a team and Brooks Cunningham placed 4th as an overall individual with a score of 76! This was our first tournament of the year and everyone did a great job!
