Veterans High Warhawks Golf

Two people from our Warhawks family participated in the 2026 GHSGCA North/South All-Star Tournament at Oak Mountain Golf Club in Carrollton this week. Jacob Rowell earned the opportunity to compete among Georgia’s top high school golfers and Coach Wiegert was one of the South team’s coaches. These Warhawks helped the South Team capture the 2026 All-Star title with an 19-11 victory over the North.

Congratulations to Jake and Coach for this great honor and achievement!

We had a great time celebrating our season at last night’s awards dinner! After our dinner from Sucheros (it was Cinco de Mayo after all!) it was a chance to reminisce about the season and to hand out awards and certificates. A fun time was had by all!

Congrats to the Lady Warhawks on their great win in their final 9-hole match of the season! They competed on the road against West Laurens and Vidalia. Rylan Paige led the team tying for low medalist with a 43. The Lady Warhawks finished the season with a 7-2 record in 9-hole matches. Way to go ladies! (Note: picture is from the match on 4/15).
