Corscale Data Centers will host a public information session about its planned $10.5 billion data center developments in Swatara Township.
Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel (4650 Lindle Road, Swatara Township)
open-house style drop-in where residents can ask questions and offer feedback directly to the project team.
The developer spent over $100 million to purchase land for two distinct complexes:
• Highlands West: Planned for the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course site (650 S. Highland St.), which is scheduled to close on October 12, 2026.
The proposal features three 409,500-square-foot buildings, two substations, a PPL switch station, three chiller yards, and four stormwater basins.
• Highlands East: Located behind the WITF building (4951 Highland St.).
The proposal includes two 372,132-square-foot buildings using a closed-loop cooling system, 12 backup generators, a substation, a PPL switch station, a pump station, a guardhouse, and five stormwater basins.
The Highlands East proposal was presented to the local planning commission on September 8, 2026, where nearby residents voiced worries regarding noise levels, the power grid load, and backup generator impacts. The golf course site layout has been submitted but has not yet gone before the planning commission.
While Corscale has a specific tenant in mind for the facilities, an official agreement has not been finalized or revealed.
