The Metamora Park District is excited to offer its second year of the Black Partridge Run Club!

Black Partridge Run Club (BPRC) is a summer training group that aims to:
• Educate its members on the training fundamentals of distance running.
• Provide a fun social environment to get into great shape over the summer.
• Establish long distance running as not only an athletic pursuit, but a lifelong activity.

This year we are excited to open the club up to high school students as well as middle school students! Both groups will meet at Black Partridge Park (pavilion). Incoming 5th-8th graders will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 PM starting June 9. Incoming 9th-12th graders will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 PM starting June 8. Both groups will meet on Saturdays at 9 AM starting June 13. Each session will be approximately 90 minutes. The Run Club continues until Aug. 8. The fee for the Run Club is $45 resident/$50 non-resident per runner. There is an optional $15 fee for a BPRC t-shirt (orders must be placed by June 13).

Whether you are a beginner or very experienced, we can help you out!

Make sure and come to run club tomorrow! Capture the flag and ultimate to celebrate the end of our first summer as a club! Wear your shirts!

If you are running Detweiller tonight, we will be near the start line around 7pm (after the start of the open race). If you are not racing, you can still come and cheer your on teammates and get a run in with us! Wear your shirts to warm up in! Hopefully the weather will be good to us.

BPRC! For those of you that are running Detweiller at Dark this friday, we would like to meet and warm up as a club. If you want to sign up, here's the link: http://www.detweilleratdark.com/. This is a very fun race and a great way to test your fitness. Will probably plan on meeting near the start line sometime after the start of the open race, but we will talk about it more tomorrow...
