This week we’re shining some muchhhh deserved light on Coach J. Ryan! ⚾️🫶🏼
Coach J. Ryan is one of those people who just naturally connects with kids. He’s patient, encouraging, and always willing to take the time to help our boys learn, grow, and remind them they can do hard things.
He knows the game. Between playing and coaching, baseball has been a huge part of his life, and our boys are truly lucky to learn from someone with that kind of experience. But again, what stands out most is the way he works with them. 🥹
If you’ve ever watched him with the boys, you’ve probably seen him down on their level, talking them through something, handing out high fives, celebrating the little wins, or standing at first base with a helmet tap and a few words of encouragement after a great hit.
He’s also never been one to turn down some extra, unplanned ballpark days. He is one of the first people willing to show up and help our kiddos, no questions asked. He’s consistently giving his time to this team.
He just has a way of making these boys feel supported, confident, and proud of themselves. Those are things that will stick with them long after they leave the ball field. He’s one of those coaches they’ll always know they can go back to throughout their baseball years, and that says everything about who he is as a human and a coach.
Thank you, Coach J. Ryan, for everything you do for Mayhem. We appreciate you so big! 🖤⚾️❤️
Also, according to Coach Steven, he loves tucans. 🤪🦜
