I'm just starting to crunch the data on my first HF2 outing and did a quick comparison of my last 3 outings at this site. The pic on the left was my previous 2 trips with my finds... none. The pic on the right is from Saturday. This is an old site with lots of old relics but with decades of trash layered on top. I've been going here for years and knew a smaller, elliptical coil would be an advantage. After my first time here with the HF2, I'm feeling pretty positive about it.

One of those finds that you know you'll not identify in the field but look forward to the chase of trying to figure it out. I went down the rabbit hole on this one. 22.3mm, a little over 4 grams... it's a little bigger than a nickel but hits 86 on the Deus 2. Nickels hit 59-63 range. I'm thinking Farthing on this one.

Kicking the season off with a couple mile hike into the mountains. Founds lots of horse related items but this one got me stumped. It’s a Patriotic Order of America token with “The Little Red Schoolhouse” on one side. If you know, let me know.

I was a big fan of Minelab xChange, now a fan of GoTerrain. I export these and bring them into Google Earth. This was definitely a good day! If u don’t use GoTerrain, you should give it a try!
