Brooklyn Jean Wiffle Ball League

The Brooklyn Jean Wiffle Ball League's inaugural season kickoff on Sunday, May 15th, 2011, with 8 teams and approximately 50 players. The 2012 season started on Saturday, May 19th, and we played 13 games over a 4 months period. Opening day for the 2013 season was May 18th, we played 8 games, and the highlight of the season was when Scott Hetsko from Channel 8 news came by for his Backyard BBQ news segment! We also played a "Z-Tournament" in honor of Zack, a "Bay Shore invades Roc-City Tournament" when Dena visited us from Long Island, and a "Tesla AC Induction Motor" Tournament in honor of Jes! The 2014 season opened on May 17, 2014! We played a total of 5 games. May 16, 2015 was the opening day for the 2015 season! We played 6 games for the year. The opening day for the 2016 season was June 4, 2016! We played 4 games, with special guest appearance by Andrew Dufour from Suffolk and Steve Lavett from Niagara! The 2017 season opened with a bang on May 20, 2017, we played 5 games. June 2, 2018 kicked off the 2018 season with special guests from Long Island! This year, Commissioner Kevin added upper deck bleacher seats out in the right field!
