As the 2025 deer season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our clients who trusted us and gave us the opportunity to work with them this year. We truly appreciate the support and relationships built along the way. As we transition from hunting season into the management stage of our pursuit, we’re excited to announce something new.

RackTrack Aerial Recovery is officially opening our schedule for post-season deer census management surveys, with flights beginning January 5th (as long as your property is not in a reduction zone).

Using our state-of-the-art thermal drone technology—the fastest and most accurate way to collect deer census data—we’re able to locate and count deer across your property with minimal disturbance. This allows us to build a true post-season census with real, reliable numbers, not estimates or guesswork.

🚨RECOVERY ALERT🚨

Sometimes even the most confident shots turn into a long night of questions. After seeing his deer tumble and following blood for several hundred yards, this hunter made the smart call to bring us in for support.

Using our state-of-the-art thermal technology, we located the buck alive on a neighboring property that evening. Based on the track and shot placement, we felt confident the deer wouldn't go far.

We returned the following morning and found the deer in the exact same spot — expired and recovered.

🚨RECOVERY ALERT🚨

Last evening, A hunter took a shot on a buck just three hours before calling us. With no blood, no hair, and no sign of impact, it looked like a clean miss. But the video his wife captured told a different story — a hard kick, a limp, and the buck disappearing out of sight.

Confident the shot had connected, they searched in the last known direction of travel… but came up empty.
That’s where we came in.

Within one minute of takeoff, our state-of-the-art thermal drone technology located Caleb’s buck — giving him the closure and recovery he was hoping for.

🚨RECOVERY ALERT🚨

Sometimes the smartest move a hunter can make is knowing when to back out—and that decision paid off in a big way this weekend.

After making his shot on a buck, the hunter began tracking and followed the trail for several hundred yards, coming across multiple beds. Concerned he was bumping the deer and pushing him farther, he made the wise call to step back and get Rack Track Aerial Recovery involved.

Roughly 8 hours after the shot, our team deployed and located the buck within minutes—alive, but bedded down tight. Based on what we saw, we expected the deer to expire overnight, but we wanted to be sure.

So we returned 24 hours post-shot. And less than a minute after liftoff, the drone picked up the deer in the exact same location we left him—expired.

A huge shoutout for making the right call at the right time.

Two Bucks. Two Days. Two Stories That Ended the Right Way.

This weekend was a reminder of why we do what we do.

🦌 The first hunter called after losing blood after tracking several hundred yards. He’d done everything right but the trail went cold fast. Within 20 minutes, our drone picked up heat and there he was — alive and alert. Sometimes the best recovery is knowing your deer will walk another day.

🦌 The second hunter reached out about an hour after his shot. He couldn’t find his arrow and only had a few drops of blood to go on. Instead of pushing in, he made the smart call to wait and let us take a look. Within 5 minutes, we spotted his buck alive and barely injured, bedded not far from where the shot was taken.

Every hunt tells a story — sometimes it ends with a recovery, and sometimes it ends with peace of mind. Either way, we’re proud to be part of it.
