Every day we get to see God's work through our horses, volunteers, participants, and staff. We may see this through tears of relief, a complete mood change in the presence of a horse, accomplishing a new goal, or the quiet love and joy our horses give. The work God is doing here doesn't happen alone. Thank you to everyone who serves, gives, prays, and supports this ministry. Your faithfulness helps create a place where healing, hope and the love of Christ are experienced every day.

Being the very first volunteer here at Grace has been a deeply rewarding and foundational experience for me! Helping to shape the program from the earliest beginnings and seeing how far we have come is amazing. Today I have the opportunity to work with all our remarkable volunteers! It's a blessing to come to Grace every day. ~ Barb Gosselink, Volunteer and Program Coordinator

For the past two weeks, we’ve shared stories, research, horses, volunteers, and the heart behind our program.

Our summer fundraising goal is to give access to the healing power of horses for individuals and families seeking support, healing, confidence, and connection. Living into our mission of empowering horses and humans to become who God created them to be and to do His work. Our total goal is $45,000 and we are currently at $13,500.
Your support helps provide:

🐴 $30/month Barn Booster to keep our barn safe and running smoothly
🐴 $80/month Support a Rider
🐴 $300/month Sponsor a Horse (7 of 12 are sponsored)
🐴 $5,000 summer events and therapeutic horsemanship sessions
🐴$10,000 installation of a lift to offer more accessibility

If this mission resonates with you, we would be deeply grateful for your support — whether through donating, sharing our posts, or helping spread awareness.
Thank you for helping us create a place where healing and hope can grow.

Mental health support isn't one size fits all.
Sometimes it looks like:
🚶 Movement that helps regulate the mind and body
🤝 Mentorship and encouragement from caring people
❤️ A supportive community where you belong
🌿 Being in nature and away from daily stressors
📅 Consistent routines that create stability and confidence
Healing and growth can happen in many forms—and sometimes it begins with a horse.

Our participants say it best:
“The horses can stretch my muscles in a way that humans just cannot. Plus the horse never judges. It’s also just really good for my mental health.” ~ Renae Beebout 💚

This summer, we are fundraising to fully support our programs for the next 3 months.

Your donation helps individuals and families access meaningful mental health support in a unique and powerful environment.
Every gift matters.
Every ride matters.
Every person matters.

This vital work is only possible through community support. The cost of feeding our herd, maintaining our facilities, and providing financial assistance for participants continues to grow.

We are raising $45,000 to cover three months of programming costs including new and special events such as a Participant Horse Show, Thursdays in Pella, a new reading program, and Horse & Art Camp. Every donation helps someone experience hope, connection and healing. Join the Grace Herd by donating. https://www.gracetr.org/donate

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We are deeply grateful for all veterans and the opportunity to serve and work alongside them at Grace Therapeutic Riding. Through the healing connection with horses, we are proud to support those who have served our country.
