Alpha One had a great tournament in Willis this weekend against some tough competition and some really great teams. While we didn’t get the outcome we were hoping for, we walked away with something even more valuable—learning opportunities, growth, and a whole lot of fun.
Sometimes the best parts of softball tournaments aren’t just the wins. They’re the amazing plays the girls make that show how much they’ve learned and developed through all the hard work they put in at practice. They’re the hotel room memories with teammates, the dinners after long, hot days at the ballpark, and the time spent laughing with friends and family. It’s about letting these 9 and 10-year-olds enjoy the game they love and create memories that will last forever.
As we prepare for Nationals in just a few weeks, tournaments like this are a great reminder of what we’re doing well and the areas we still need to improve. Growth doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard, but it shows up in the effort, determination, and development of these young athletes.
Keep working hard, keep learning, and keep having fun. Let’s go, Alpha One! 💙❤️🥎
