The Spartans participated in the East Coast Elite Pajama Invitational at Roanoke College on 01/10/26. There was some fierce competition, but the Spartans made their presence known with a host of athletes securing personal records. Let’s wish them luck as they compete in the Walter Bass High School Invitational at Liberty University on 01/17/26!! Results from 01/10 were as follows:
Girls 55-Meter Hurdles

On Saturday, 1/10, the Spartan Indoor Track team will be competing in the East Coast Elite Pajama Invitational at Roanoke College in Salem. Doors will open at 7:30am. Tickets will be sold ahead of time online for $11.60 (https://hq2running.com/1-10-26-ece-roanoke-1) OR for $15 at the door. Children 10 and under are free.

The Spartans competed in their first meet of the season on 12/20/25, the East Coast Elite Winter Wonderland Invitational at Roanoke College. There was definitely some fierce competition, but the Spartans made their presence known. For the first event of the day, Senior Malia Gulifoyle cleared the Girls 55 Meter Hurdles with a time of 11.73 seconds. In the Boys 55 MeterDash, Brier Underwood finished with a time of 7.68 seconds, Mason Bryant had a time of 8.32 seconds, Noah Steele came in at 8.63 seconds, and Jonathan Worley finished things up with a time of 8.88 seconds. Senior Lainy Sharp was the Spartan’s sole competitor in the Girls 55 Meter Dash and finished with a personal best time of 8.38 seconds. The Girls 4x800 Meter Relay team made up of Lainy Sharp, Bridgette Blevins, RaevhnStump, and Gabrielle Huffman had a strong 7th place finish with a time of 12:46.58. In the Boys 1600 Meter event, Jaxson Mayer led the Spartans with a time of 5:39.17 and Wyatt McCroskey came in at a personal best time of 6:58.01. Freshman Gabrielle Huffman performed well in the Girls 1600 Meter event with a time of 7:12.10 followed closely by Raevhn Stump at 7:16.95. In the Boys 500 Meter event, Hayden Collini crossed the finish line in 1:20.24, followed by Dallas Wilson at 1:39.21 and Mason Price at 1:54.38. Raevhn Stump finished strong in the Girls 500 Meter event with a time of 1:42.90 and Bridgette Blevins wasn’t far behind at 1:44.10. In the Boys 1000 Meter event, Jaxson Mayer finished strong with a time of 3:21.18, Wyatt McCroskey came in at 4:18.51, and Dallas Wilson rounded things out for the Spartans with a time of 4:20.02. Gabrielle Huffman dominated the Girls 1000 Meter event with a time of 4:09.17. Senior Hayden Collini led the Spartans in the Boys 300 Meter event at 42.19 seconds, Nate Steele came in at 45.02 seconds, and Mason Price finished with a time of 56.73 seconds. In the Girls 300 Meter event, Lainy Sharp came in 21st with a time of 47.55 seconds and Malia Gulifoyle crossed the finish line in 56.62 seconds. Several Spartans competed in the Boys Shot Put event. Junior Noah Steele placed 25th with a throw of 36’-09.50”, followed by Jonathan Worley at 33’-10.75”, Mason Bryant at 33’-04.75”, Brier Underwood at 26’10.00”, Mason Price at 26’-01.00”, and Dallas Wilson at 24’-03.00”.
