Meet Kenley: a 5th-grade student at Paynesville Elementary School who has already built an impressive athletic resume! She captured her first state title in 2023 in girls folkstyle wrestling at the NYWA State Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota and has continued dominance in the sport since then, earning back-to-back championships and becoming a four-time NYWA State Champion.
In 2025, Kenley reached another major milestone by earning the USA Wrestling Triple Crown—an honor awarded to athletes who win state titles in folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. All three competitions take place in Rochester, and Kenley made history as the first wrestler from Paynesville to achieve this prestigious accomplishment.
Kenley also plays other sports: she dances at Just For Kix, is a flyer on her cheerleading squad, and competes in softball, tackle football, and gymnastics. She does it all!
Known for her determination and strong work ethic, Kenley gives her best effort both on and off the mat. She is excited to continue learning, improving, and growing in all the sports she loves. Join me in recognizing this incredible young athlete and all she does in and around our community!
