If you grew up in Kansas, you know the name. Jackie Stiles built her legacy in a small town—just like ours—and went on to become one of the most dominant players in the game.

We are pleased to offer this opportunity for area athletes, grades 3rd through 12th, to learn from her experience. The camp will focus on fundamentals, skill development, and basketball strategy.

Grace Zeller Breaks Wabaunsee 400M Record

Grace Zeller is rewriting the record books at Wabaunsee High School.

Competing at Solomon tonight, Zeller ran a 58.76 in the 400 meters to break the previous school record of 58.92, held by Payton Wurtz.

The mark now ranks as the third-fastest 400 time in all Kansas classes this season and is currently the No. 1 time in Class 1A.

She also turned in a strong 2:15 split in the 4x800 relay.

Wabaunsee’s relay squads continue to surge as both the 4x400 and 4x800 teams keep dropping time and showing major talent this spring.

Congratulations Karsyn!!!

Congratulations to Karsyn Shoffner of Wabaunsee High School, the kstate CREDIT UNION & Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center/KMAN “Student-Athletes of the Week!”

Wabaunsee baseball entered the week on a four game winning streak after defeating Herington and Lebo. Putting up numbers for the Chargers at the plate and on the mound this season is senior Karsyn Shoffner

In the batter’s box, Shoffner finished the week with a .600 batting average, one home run, nine RBI and seven runs scored. On the bump, he tossed seven innings of scoreless relief with 14 strikeouts. For the 2026 season so far, Shoffner is batting .525 with 21 hits, 17 RBI and two home runs. He has also fanned 32 batters. That’s top five in strikeouts for the entire state. Shoffner is a three-sports athlete at Wabaunsee and is also involved in FFA.
