Know your rights!

https://law.justia.com/codes/oklahoma/title-21/section-21-1173/

Victims have a right to request GPS Monitoring with Victim Notifications as Condition of Bond!

As a previous victim myself, whose predator violated multiple PO’s; I started Rampart Recovery solely to provide Victim Notifications as a survivor resource.

Though a GPS monitor with victim notifications does NOT PREVENT an offender from attempting to offend or violate again; having the capability to provide the Victim with an immediate alert on their phone if the offender has:let their battery get critical battery life, attempting or cut it off; has come within radius of the victim(this can be set to notify upto a ten mile radius of victim. We allow it to be a minimum of 2000 feet but upto 10 miles to allow the victim to decide how much notice they prefer.

The victim does not see the actual location of the offender and the Offender Never has the Victims information or location.

All notifications are sent directly to the victims cell phone, probation or parole, the Rampart Monitoring Case Manager Assigned, as well as myself personally to ensure response is immediate.

Though this system does not prevent an incident from occurring; it sure does give the victim a fighting chance to survive, escape, evade, and deter.

We provide the service courtesy to the victim at no additional fee.

Victims, know your rights! Take a self defense class immediately! Have a plan of escape! Be Alert! You have to advocate for yourself.

If you would like information about Rampart Recovery’s Scram AllyApp Victim notifications feel free to email me. Stay Safe and we are keeping you in our prayers.

Prayers for this Victim that she receives all of the resources necessary to recover and protect herself and her family.

Today we honor our Sisters in Arms!!
Women Veterans Day is today June 12th!
It’s a day to recognize and honor the service and sacrifices of women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Today commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act by President Truman in 1948, which allowed women to permanently serve in the regular armed forces. Thank you S.I.I.S. for your service and sacrifices made to serve our Great Country! Freedom is never free. Thank you and all the other fearless women who serve along with you, present, past, & in the future. Jesus said in John 15:13 Greater love have no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. I have 2 Hero’s: Jesus Christ & The American Soldier. Love you Sis! Keep fighting the good fight of Faith! We Win!

Ladies, Meet Lindsey Romero & Scout

Lindsey currently serves as a Admin/Deputy/Sex & Violent Offender Registrar for the Pawnee County Sheriff Department.

Scout and his mom/handler Lindsey Romero are a nationally certified pet therapy team and member of Oklahoma State University Pete's Pet Posse therapy program.

Scout has earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen award and is nationally certified with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. As a therapy dog, Scout is trained to comfort people and provide a calming presence during times of distress; as well as; contributing to the mental well-being (and mental health awareness) of every friend he meets.

While Scout spends most of his days doing therapy visits with his OSU Cowboy family, he has the privilege to serve his hometown community in many different capacities.

From the ATD (Alliance of Therapy Dogs) website:
“We are an international registry of certified therapy dog teams. At ATD, we provide testing, certification, registration, support, and insurance for members who volunteer with their dogs in animal-assisted activities. Our objective is to form a network of caring
individuals and their special dogs who are willing to share smiles and joy with people, young and old alike.

Our teams provide therapy in many settings, including but not limited to airports, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehab facilities, mental health institutions, schools, hospitals, cancer centers, hospice facilities, college campuses and can also provide
therapy in patients’ homes.

ATD doesn’t restrict where our teams visit. ATD teams may
choose to be members of local therapy dog groups. They may also participate in nation-wide therapy dog initiatives with organizations like the Red Cross and R.E.A.D.

Additionally, we allow our members to visit with teams who may be registered with other organizations.”

With a background in law and law enforcement, Lindsey is honored to attend an event like this with Scout as she believes it is extremely important that women learn how to protect themselves not only physically but mentally as well. Knowing what resources are
available in your community is important. Mental health matters!
