Well little recap from last night neither car broke and ran the heat great. Come the feature Larry Bogseth started over heating sitting in the Shute before the race started. So no feature for him. John Wood started 10th and finished 6th on a broken outside rear strut. He said after having to put a bunch of new parts in the front end of the car it was handling better then ever. Thanks to Midwest Compacts presented by TBG Tuned for being a kick ass circuit to race with and thank you I-96 Speedway for having us. All in all was a great night. Just hoping the over heating issue with the #4 is something simple.

Woody’s Race for Down Syndrome Family Night is this Friday, May 29th, at Hartford Speedway with racing starting at 7:30PM!

Last nights recap: Track looked horrible from the time we arrived till the time we loaded up. With that being said We went out for our hot laps track was beyond bumpy. We hoped that as the night went on the track would get better. Fast forward to heat races Larry Bogseth #4 went out in heat race 1 started 5th dropped back to last trying to find a line on the track that wasn’t like riding the whoops section on a motocross track. Turns 1-2 we figured out pretty quickly but 3-4 were beyond bad. Tj Hookermen #29 and John Wood #329 went out in the third heat race. Tj started 5th finished 5th. John started 1st finished 4th. They came off the track from heats and we loaded our cars onto the trailer. Reason being is Tj’s front bumper wash almost pushed into his radiator and Larry’s passenger side bumper was folded under. The three of us agreed that we weren’t going to beat the hell out of our cars to run a track that wasn’t ready for use to be racing on. Tim did grade the track after heats and that helped a little.
