🏐 Volleyball Experience comes from successes and failures throughout each challenging situation (on & off the court).
-PVC (players and parents), I thank you for being a part of this program (with your time, energy, and above all patience). We’re working hard on getting better every opportunity we have. Realizing we have had limited practice sessions, 3 of 4 teams have played in a tournament and for the most part shown some progress (in my eyes). Players are becoming familiar with teammates, positions, level of play, expectations (playing time, roles, work duties, long days), and coaching (and their feedback).
Dealing with in game/ on the job training and learning as a tournament progresses is admirable. As coaches, we are (as humanly possible) trying to give timely and consistent feedback whenever possible….the athletes ability to listen, learn and make adjustments depends upon many factors. Some athletes need more time and under way less stressful conditions, while others are able to make changes in the intense environment. Either way, a player’s ability to be coachable is crucial. Keep working…we see your progress!!
