Matthew Austin Memorial Tournament

Matthew Austin Memorial Tournament Honoring Matthew Austin and his battle against brain cancer, while raising money for DIPG research. We were told he would live approximately 12 months.

Our son Matthew was 9 years old when he was diagnosed with DIPG, an incurable, inoperable form of brain cancer. He bravely fought for 14 months until he died in November, 2013. DIPG has no cure. The only treatment is radiation to the brain and chemotherapy- both of which are only a temporary "fixes" to slow the growth of the cancer. Matthew played baseball from time he was 4 years old. This event

seemed like the perfect way to honor his memory and fund research-both of which we are passionately dedicated to. Thank you all for your continued support...let's play ball!
