Good morning JSSL folks,

Schedule updates have been made and posted out of necessity, as well as the rescheduling of the week 2 makeup games.

Remaining schedule has been posted online with the updated times for 8/9, 8/16, & 8/23.

We will still be at Masar Park this week and next week (8/9 & 8/16.) The last week of the regular season on 8/23 will be held at Manor Park, as well as the playoffs on 8/30 at Manor.

Playoff structure and times would be as the following:

Single-eliminator game matchups/times:

Game 1: 5th place vs. 4th place 9:00 A.M.

Game 2: Winner of 5th/4th vs. 1st place at 10:15 A.M. or 11:30 A.M. (TBD)

Game 3: Winner of 3rd place vs. 2nd place at 10:15 A.M. or 11:30 A.M. (TBD)

Champs series (best-of-3):

Game 4: Winner of Matchups 2 and 3 (higher standing seed is home squad game 4) at 12:45 P.M.

Game 5: Lower standing seed is home squad game 5 at 2:00 P.M.

Game 6 (if necessary): Higher standing seed is home squad game 6 at 3:15 P.M.

Good evening JSSL players,

A schedule update had to be made as there were scheduling conflicts with competing events going on at Smith field park. We've added Manor Park for this upcoming Sunday and the Sunday after.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if there are any issues with the updated times.

Good afternoon everyone,

During today’s game, one of our players suffered a significant injury.

We are currently awaiting further updates. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as we all hope for the best and a full recovery.

Thank you for your support and care for one another.

Update: I personally reached out to her this morning, she responded back to me a little while ago, and resting and fully alert. We will continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers and will put forth efforts to help her along in her recovery journey.

We thank you all again for the unwavering support here.

Good evening JSSL ballers,

In addition to the food drive collection this Sunday, we also will host a collection for anyone who wants to donate towards the Parsippany DPW GoFundMe for Anthony Shandra. He tragically lost his leg in an accident while working yesterday. DPW assists in maintaining our parks and JSSL takes pride in helping our community.
